Anwar.says Anwar Says: The recent trend in Bollywood and OTT is to go for propaganda subjects, either related to crime or political, claiming it to be Inspired by True Events. But the success depends on the narrative and of course direction. This time the story is pledging of Government Gold to take out the country out of biggest economic crisis, in a coalition government. This event puts the foundation of economic reform, orchestrated by Shri Manmohan Singh. Subject is quite relevant even to the present economic scenario of the country. Ramanan was chosen as the Governor superseding the normal hierarchy and who could be the better choice than Manoj Vajpayee. His Tamilian Hindi and saviour approach are a treat to watch but the storytelling is not been able to raise spark. His deputy CR’s dilemma and initial mistrust was obvious. The character of Journalist played by Adah Sharma is sometimes irritating. On the second day of release, there were only 7 people in the theatre and that shows that even if the movie tried to resuscitate, hardly there is anything in the history and so the movie had to collapse. I as a student of finance may have appreciated but it wouldn’t attract the masses.
